Explore a Science based STEAM Programming event for all ages in groups of K-2, 3-5, and 6-12 depending on class availability.

The theme of the event will be about weather and climate change.

Science Event Registration – Weather & Climate Workshop

Event Title:
Weather Wonders: Exploring Climate Change

Overview:
Join us for an exciting, hands-on science event where students will explore the fascinating world of weather and learn about climate change in a fun and engaging way! Through interactive activities and guided experiments, participants will discover how weather patterns work and why climate change matters.

Event Details:

  • Location: 1580 Summit Rd, Cincinnati, OH 45237 (located in the back of the building)

  • Capacity: Limited to 15 participants per session

  • Grades: Open to students in Kindergarten through 12th grade

  • Duration: 3 hours

  • Date & Time: 4/24 (4:30pm-7:30pm) and 4/25 (11:00am-2:00pm)

What to Expect:

  • Hands-on experiments focused on weather and climate

  • Age-appropriate learning activities for different age groups

  • Take-home science kit for continued learning after the event

Take-Home Kit:
Each participant will receive a science kit to continue exploring weather concepts at home, reinforcing what they learned during the event.

Registration Information:

  • Pre-registration is required due to limited space

  • Spots are filled on a first-come, first-served basis

  • A confirmation email will be sent once registration is complete

Parent/Guardian Information:

  • Parents/guardians will be required to sign a participation waiver

  • Please ensure emergency contact information is provided during registration
